KIPP DC is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a yearlong school leadership professional development and learning facilitator program. The program will serve two cohorts: Principal in Residence (PIR) and Rising Leaders (Vice Principals). The selected vendor will be responsible for designing and delivering in-person and virtual professional development sessions, aligning content with the KIPP Foundation Leadership Competency Framework, and providing participant support. Key deliverables include a detailed scope and sequence, session designs, participant materials, and progress reports. Proposals are due by May 26, 2026. KIPP DC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to prioritize women and minority-owned businesses.
The bid submission deadline is May 26, 2026. The estimated contract start date is July 2026.
KIPP DC will award services to the firm which, in KIPP DC's judgment, is in KIPP DC's own best interest. Proposals will be evaluated based on pricing (30%), experience and quality (30%), responsiveness and qualifications to the stated requirements (20%), and past performance and references (20%).
Proposals should include a statement of interest, project plan, facilitation experience (resumes/bios), sample materials, description of relevant experience and references, proposed fees, and information on cooperative purchasing groups and insurance capabilities.
The bid notice mentions participation in at least one school walkthrough by early November for PIR participants, but does not specify a mandatory site visit for bidders.
The bid requires at least one example of a PD module, leadership development resource, or feedback tool from a similar program, and at least one example of a PD project plan for a similar leadership program.
Questions from bidders are due by May 15, 2026.
