A standard manufacturer's warranty must be included with the bid proposal. Specific warranty limitations are: basic 2 years/unlimited miles; diesel engine, 5 years/250,000 miles or 10,000 engine hours; frame 5 years/unlimited miles; corrosion perforation rust through 3 years/unlimited miles; Ford med duty trans w/6. 7L diesel 5 years/250,000 miles; emission warranty noise emissions, unlimited years/miles. Service location must be within 60 miles.

All bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must submit references, documentation of enrollment in the Everify program pursuant to Alabama Code ****, State of Alabama Immigration Form, Anticollusion Certificate, and relevant licensure. The bidder must also certify that they have the equipment and personnel to provide the services and will maintain required insurance levels.

Failure on the part of the successful bidder to comply with all terms and conditions of this bid shall give cause for the City of Gadsden to terminate the award immediately. The contracting party found to be in violation of federal immigration law shall be deemed in breach of the agreement and shall be responsible for all damages resulting therefrom.

Any bidder affected adversely by an intended decision shall file with the Finance Director a written notice of intent to file a protest not later than five (5) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and City of Gadsden holidays) after the posting of the bid tabulation.
