In such events, the city shall be entitled to collect from the contractor any expenses in completing the work. In addition, the city may withhold from the amount payable to the contractor a liquidated damage set forth in the contract documents or an amount approximately equal to any interest lost or charges incurred by the city for each calendar day that the contractor is in default after the time of completion stipulated in the contract documents.
If applicable, by submitting a bid, you certify that you have visited the work site, have reviewed plans and specifications, and have determined that the project is reasonably capable of completion.
