Bids are due by 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

City agrees to pay contractor based on the fee schedule in exhibit b, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, in a total sum not to exceed the amount indicated on the cover page of this contract, for the scope of work identified in exhibit a, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Contractor shall submit detailed written invoices to City for work performed, referencing the work performed and the fee schedule in exhibit b, at a frequency not to exceed one invoice per calendar month, and no later than sixty 60 calendar days after performance of the work referenced in the invoice. Within thirty 30 calendar days of receipt of each invoice, City shall submit payment to contractor or shall notify contractor in writing of any dispute with regard to such invoice.

A maintenance bond effective for two years from the date of project completion in the amount of 10 of the maximum contract payment amount set forth immediately above, are are not required for this contract.

This project is subject to a prequalification process and only earthwork and drainage contractors prequalified bids will be accepted. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with the laws of the state of Oregon ORS **** to do either earthwork and drainage. Letters of prequalification approval letter only from the Oregon Department of Transportation ODOT, Washington County Department of Land Use Transportation, or any local municipality with a population equal to or greater than 18,000 persons is acceptable to the City. Proof of valid prequalification must be submitted to the City by Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM local time for the bidders bid to be deemed responsive and to retain appeal rights. Only bids from prequalified bidders will be opened.

bidder will pay as liquidated damages to the city for any delay, the sum of eight hundred dollars and no100 (****) per day for each calendar day required beyond that period.

A mandatory prebid meeting will be held for this project on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time at Sherwood City Hall, **** SW Pine Street, Sherwood, OR ****.

Proposals without a completed first-tier subcontractor disclosure form submitted will be considered nonresponsive. The City of Sherwood may reject a bid that does not comply with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidders responsibility under ORS ****, and that the City may reject for good cause, all bids after finding that doing so is in the public interest.

The engineer's estimate is $50,****,000.

Bids are due by 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, July 9, 2026. First-tier subcontractor disclosure forms are due by 4:00 PM local time on the same date.
