Sealed proposals are requested for the relocation of PreK and Kindergarten playground equipment and impact surfaces at Barnes Elementary. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Barnes Elementary. Proposals are due May 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Sealed bid for supplying marching band percussion instruments. Bidders must submit bids on the provided forms by 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time on the specified date. Bids must be in hard copy, and include original signatures. The bid must specify the brand and model number of the product offered. Equivalent brands are acceptable, but bidders must provide supporting documentation. Delivery is required by August 1st, 2025. A one-year warranty is required for the instruments, with two years for SFZ models. Cases have a 10-year warranty. The successful bidder agrees to replace the unit with a new piece of equipment if the same problem occurs three times in the first year. All shipping and installation costs must be included in the bid price. The university reserves the right to award items separately, grouped, or on an all-or-none basis and to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. The successful bidder will be required to provide a W9 form and their tax identification number. The state is exempt from sales/use tax. All products must be new, never previously used, and the current model and/or packaging. No remanufactured, demonstrator, used, or irregular products will be considered unless otherwise specified. The manufacturer's standard warranty will apply unless otherwise specified. The contractor agrees to abide by the requirements of various federal and state laws, including the Davis-Bacon Act. The contractor agrees that the university and the legislative auditor of the state of Louisiana shall have access to, and the right to audit and examine, any pertinent books, documents, papers, and records of the contractor related to this bid and any resulting contract agreement. The contractor agrees to protect, defend, indemnify, save, and hold harmless the state of Louisiana from and against any and all claims, damages, expenses, and liability arising out of injury or death to any person or the damage, loss or destruction of any property which may occur, or in any way grow out of, any act or omission of contractor, its agents, servants, and employees.
