The contractor shall complete this work within ten (10) business days after beginning the project, which shall begin within 10 business days of contract award. Deliveries shall be made directly to the loading dock at the site.

Payment will be made by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Invoices shall be submitted upon receipt, acceptance, inspection, and final installation.

Offers will be evaluated on bill of materials, detailed dimensions and drawings, labor/services description, and product specifications.

Contractors must submit a self-certifying statement confirming their ability to meet project deadlines.

The contractor shall be available for a site meeting within ten (10) business days of contract award, in person at the building site. Time and date to be determined.

Physical finish samples are required and shall be submitted post-award by the contractor who is awarded the contract.

Late quotes will not be accepted for evaluation. The contractor is responsible for confirming the government's receipt of the contractor's quote.

The period of performance is from award date to 07/31/2027.

Workmanship warranty for one year. Equipment warranty by manufacturer.

The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: 1. Cost/price, 2. Technical capability to meet the government's need for project description, 3. Personnel qualifications, 4. Past performance.

The contractor shall perform work in accordance with best common practices and standards, including safety and hazard awareness, and abide by housing codes.

The contractor must submit all materials to be used for renovation and be approved by KHC.

Protests must be served on the contracting officer by obtaining written and dated acknowledgment of receipt. A copy of any protest must be received in the designated office within one day of filing a protest with the GAO.

Failure of your acknowledgement to be received at the place designated for the receipt of offers prior to the hour and date specified may result in rejection of your offer. Contractors perform at their own risk when accepting direction from unauthorized officials.
