This is a request for repair of indoor and outdoor electric lighting fixtures. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's written acceptance prior to execution. The government requires a repair turnaround time (RTAT) of 60 days. Government source
inspection (GSI) is required. Freight is handled by Navy CAV or proxy CAV. The quote should include quote amount, RTAT, unit price, total price, and repair turnaround time. If the company is not quoting the government's required RTAT or earlier, provide capacity constraints. The resultant contractual delivery requirement is measured from asset return to the date of asset acceptance. The contractor must obtain final
inspection and acceptance by the government for all assets within the RTATs established in this contract. Any asset for which the contractor does not meet the required RTAT will incur a price reduction per unit per month the contractor is late. The contract includes requirements for repair and contract quality requirements for the illuminator masthea. Applicable documents, cage code reference numbers, marking, changes in design, material, servicing, or part number, quality assurance,
inspection, testing, packaging, preservation, and marking are specified. The Department of Defense single stock point (DODSSP) provides product information. Offerors consideration for award of contract shall be given only to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item.
