The contracting officer determines that the anticipated cost to the government of the supplies covered by this JA will be fair and reasonable. Prior to contract award a final fair and reasonableness determination will also be made.

If a company other than the one listed believes they have a compatible product, they can submit the item to the engineering program office, to include research and development, drawings and test specifications. The program office may test and evaluate the item at the company's expense, when appropriate. Upon qualification, the approved company will be able to participate in current or future solicitations.

If the bidder fails to pay for and/or remove property offered for sale herein within the time allowed by the agreement, the Fort Knox QRP will send the bidder a written ten 10 day notice of default calculated from the date of mailing, and upon bidder's failure to cure such default within the period, the bidder shall lose all rights, title, and interest which he may otherwise have acquired in and to such property as to which a default has occurred.

A visit by prospective bidders to examine/view the materials offered may be arranged by contacting the Fort Knox QRP at 502 ****, 8:00 a. m to 3:00 p. m. Eastern Standard Time EST Monday through Friday except for federal holidays.
