The Board of County Commissioners of Cowlitz County, Washington, is soliciting sealed bids for the Dike Road Reconstruction Project. The work includes clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation and embankment, full depth reclamation (FDR) of existing roadway, grinding and mixing existing pavement, underlying gravel and subgrade with cement and water, grading and compacting the FDR, precast concrete vaults, paving with hot mix asphalt, installing pavement markings, constructing gravel shoulders, reconstructing driveways, and associated work. Cowlitz County is not responsible for bidders failing to check for addenda. Paper copies of bid documents will not be provided. A bid proposal deposit of 5% of the bid amount is required. All bid responses will become public record. Other public agencies may contract with the successful bidder. Cowlitz County ensures disadvantaged business enterprises will have a fair opportunity to bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive immaterial irregularities.
