Jacksonville Housing Authority (JHA) is soliciting bids for sidewalk renovations at Southwind Villas. Bids are due July 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST. A mandatory site walkthrough is scheduled for July 7 and July 7, 2026. Written inquiries are due July 1, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Contractors must be qualified, licensed, and insured. The project duration is up to 180 calendar days after notice to proceed, with liquidated damages of $150 per day for schedule delays.
The contractor shall have up to 180 calendar days to complete the project after the notice to proceed.
Progress payments will be made at 30-day intervals based on the percentage of work completed. A 5% retainage will be held on each payment request.
All work provided shall be warranted or guaranteed by the contractor for a period of not less than 365 days.
Award of an IFB is made to the responsive and responsible bidder that submits the lowest cost.
Bidders must be qualified, licensed, and insured independent contractors.
If the contractor fails to maintain the construction schedule, they will be charged with liquidated damages of $150 per day.

Written inquiries submittal deadline is July 1, 2026, by 12:00 PM EST.
Failure to abide by communication protocols with the JHA or not obtaining documents from the e-procurement marketplace may result in disqualification.
