Failure to comply promptly with environmental noncompliance notices may be grounds for the contracting officer to invoke appropriate contractual remedies, which may cause all or part of the work to be stopped immediately until satisfactory corrective action has been taken.
The vetting official may deny entry to the installation based on the results of a criminal history check. Failure to return badges will hold up contractors' final payment.
