Lot 1: The Kentucky School for the Blind has the need for a physical therapist in order to support the physical development, mobility and over- all physical needs of students that are blind or have low vision. Physical therapists work to enhance students' motor skills, posture, balance, and spatial awareness, which are crucial for navigating their environment and participating in daily activities. They also help students develop strength, coordination, and confidence, enabling them to engage more fully in academic and social experiences.

Lot 1: This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Department of Education, an agency of the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, and is issued in accordance with KRS 45A. 097. The purpose of this document is to solicit one or more sponsors to provide lunch, supplies, advertising, and financial support for the Kentucky Educators Rising Conference. Educators Rising Kentucky, formerly known as Future Educators of America ( FEA), is the Career and Technical Student Organization ( CTSO) for middle and high school students interested in the field of education- related careers. As the state affiliate, Educators Rising Kentucky partners with Phi Delta Kappa to create a national network helping students build resources and create connections that can significantly impact educational opportunities through co- curricular and extracurricular activities. Through local chapter or individual membership, Educators Rising Kentucky students have opportunities to participate in projects that assist and recognize educator practices through local, state, and national conferences as well as performance- based competitions. The 2026 Kentucky conference saw a record registration with 986 students and over 100 teachers, chaperones, and judges.

Lot 1: Under the direction of the Director of the Division of District Support, any consultants who are awarded a contract may be assigned to perform one or more of the following duties: conduct management reviews in the areas of financial management, school facilities, attendance/student tracking, pupil transportation, or technology in those districts requesting such services or as assigned by the Commissioner of Education or Associate Commissioner of the Office of Finance and Operations; actively monitor districts with declared or impending financial emergencies; and perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the Associate Commissioner of the Office of Finance and Operations.

Lot 1: The Kentucky Department of Education ( KDE) is seeking a qualified individual or company to assist KDE in the continuation of the Medicaid School- Based Administrative Claiming ( SBAC) Program and upon approval of Kentucky Department of Medicaid Services ( DMS) State Plan Amendment, the Random Moment Time Study ( RMTS) shall include Free Care. Random Moment Time Study; is a tool used by the School- Based Medicaid Program to measure what a person is doing during a moment of time of the workday. The SBAC provides a method of federal reimbursement for a portion of health- related administrative outreach activities currently performed by KYs 173 school Local Education Agency ( LEAs) that serve the states 646, 936 public school students, the KY School for the Deaf and the KY School for the Blind. Of these 173 LEAs, 161 were certified to provide direct school- based health services in 2018- 2019. In fiscal year 2019, 667, 208 of children under the age of 20 were eligible Medicaid recipients. Of these 529, 734 were under fifteen ( 15); 85, 267 were between fifteen ( 15) and seventeen ( 17; and 52, 207 were between eighteen ( 18) and twenty ( 20). Free Care allows all students who qualify for Medicaid services to receive services at school without the requirement of an IEP. Free Care precludes Medicaid from paying for the costs of Medicaid coverable services and activities which are generally available to all students without charge, including reimbursement for Section 504 services or general health care services blend working Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services CMS indicated that schools were legally liable and responsible for providing and paying for these services.
