Sealed proposals are solicited for on-call HVAC maintenance and repair services. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed manila envelope, clearly marked with the proposal number and title, and date and
time of proposal opening, by April 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The successful proposer must meet the terms and conditions set forth in the document and all attachments. Additional documents required, participation criteria, process stages, cost of the dispute, deadlines for clarification and objection, and exclusivity for certain types of companies are not mentioned. The performance period will be for two years or until termination by the district or contractor. A performance review will be scheduled periodically. Service providers must comply with federal occupational safety and health act, pay all applicable taxes, and maintain safety barricades and signs during service visits. All service provider personnel must coordinate with the school prior to the commencement of any work, present a state-issued ID, and sign in and out. Background checks are required. The service provider will ensure that all employees have undergone a criminal background check and comply with immigration laws. The service provider will not subcontract with any other firm, agency, or person to perform the contracted services without prior written consent of the district. The service provider will not utilize day labor or temporary workers. The service provider and all employees are expected to present a professional appearance, be neat, well-groomed, and properly uniformed. The service provider will remove and dispose of all trash in a manner acceptable under all federal, district, city, and county ordinances. The service provider shall immediately report any damage to private, public, or district properties and be responsible for the repair of such damage. The service provider shall submit service affidavits with details to include: all services provided, site location, date of service. A representative at the site must sign service affidavits. Service affidavits must be emailed to the maintenance manager, HVAC manager, or facilities coordinator. The service provider shall acquire and maintain for the duration of the contract insurance coverage for the limits stated on the insurance attachment. The proposal opening will be held on April 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty County Board of Education building. The services to be provided include on-call HVAC maintenance and repair services for various facilities. The contractor shall commence to perform tasks within 24 hours of verbal task order notice. The county may appoint maintenance personnel to inspect materials and work. The service provider is required to complete the contractor affidavit form verifying its compliance with Georgia state law. The service provider must be registered with and use the everify program. Termination for cause/default and termination for convenience are also outlined.
