The chassis basic vehicle warranty is included. The gasoline engine and ECM are warranted for a minimum of five years/100,000 miles. The transmission is warranted for five years or 100,000 miles. The chassis electrical system is covered by the basic vehicle warranty. The modular body structural integrity is warranted for a minimum of fifteen years. The exterior paint finish is warranted for seven years, unlimited mileage. The ambulance manufacturers workmanship and materials, including electrical components, are warranted for not less than two years, unlimited mileage and hours.

Award will be made to the suppliers submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid.

Bidders must have at least one onsite engineer employed for a minimum of 1 year by the same manufacturer or possess an engineering degree with certification. Bidders must also furnish a letter of certification from a bonded independent testing laboratory nationally recognized within the ambulance industry, certifying compliance with **** specifications. Manufacturers must have a proven history of capability and have been continuously engaged in manufacturing this type of ambulance for not less than seven years.

Sevier County government reserves the right to terminate the construction contract after a 90-day period beyond the stated final inspection date if vehicles are not ready for inspection.

Sevier County shall have the right to inspect the ambulance at all times during its construction. A pre-delivery inspection will be conducted prior to leaving the primary manufacturing facility and prior to delivery.

Failure to return required bid documents, such as the county bid schedule, compliance sheets, addenda, or **** certification documents, will result in bid rejection. Bids not providing a certificate letter with the bid will not be considered.
