The City of Parkersburg shall make a progress payment within thirty 30 days after approval of the invoice, retaining ten 10 percent. Final payment will be made upon final acceptance, receipt of tax clearance, and waiver of claims.

Liquidated damages will be assessed for each calendar day the contractor is in default after the time stipulated for completion. The amount is based on a table related to the total estimated cost.
Proposals not in conformity may be considered informal and rejected. Failure to execute the contract, furnish an acceptable bond, or other contract papers within ten 10 days after award may result in annulment of the award and forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
