The contract periods shall commence upon the issuance of a purchase order and shall terminate upon the delivery and acceptance of the equipment.

The intent of the township to make contract award on April 14, 2026 to Stryker EMS Equipment, pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Sourcewell request for bids for EMS equipment.

The Township of Brick is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N. J. S. A. 52:34-6. 2b3.

Opportunity to comment will begin upon the publication of this notice and end ten (10) calendar days thereafter.

The bid notice states that the response deadline is May 4, 2026, at 01:00 PM CT.

The bid notice mentions that vendors must agree to perform services in compliance with all mandatory requirements, terms and conditions of the RFP, and complete a certification regarding debarment, suspension, ineligibility and voluntary exclusion.

The bid notice states that the questions deadline is April 27, 2026, at 04:00 PM CT.

The due date and time for proposal submission is by no later than May 28, 2026, at 11:00 a. m. prevailing local time.

Unless otherwise specified, prompt payment discounts requiring payment in less than fifteen (15) days will not be considered in evaluating a proposal for award. However, even though not considered in the evaluation, such discounts will be taken if payment is to be made within the discount period. In connection with any discount offered, time will be computed from the date an undisputed invoice is received by the City. In the event the offeror does not indicate a prompt payment discount, it shall be construed to mean net 30 days.

The selection process and criteria for proposal evaluation are detailed in Attachment B.

The offeror must submit its Virginia State Corporation Commission SCC registration number or justification for exemption, and must determine and possess any required licenses to perform the work specified in this RFP.

The City may utilize its documentation of contractor performance issue (DCPI) procedure or other notification processes to document contractor performance issues. Should a contractor receive repeated DCPI issuances or other such notices, the City may consider taking additional steps, including but not limited to the issuance of a notice to cure, notice of default and/or termination/cancellation of the contract.

A site visit may be scheduled with the City staff on a separate date and time to be determined (TBD). The City will set the date and time for the site visit only with those offerors who submit a request by email to the purchasing agent.

Samples, if required, must be furnished free of expense to the City on or before the date specified if not destroyed in examination, they will be returned to offeror, if requested, at offeror's expense.

Inquiries, including questions, shall be made in writing and forwarded to the purchasing agent via email by no later than May 22, 2026, by 12:00 noon.
