Re-bid for lawn care services for various schools in Mobile County Public School System. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Proposals are due by August 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Bidders must be established for at least five years and demonstrate adequate resources. A bid bond of $4,**** is required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Payment will be made via Visa virtual credit card. Bidders must comply with Alabama immigration law and provide an affidavit of compliance.

The bidder expressly warrants that all articles, material and work offered shall conform to each and every specification, drawing, sample, or other description which is furnished to or adopted by the school district, and that it will be fit and sufficient for the purpose intended, merchantable, of good material and workmanship, and free from defect. The bidders further warrants all items for a period of one year, unless otherwise stated, from the date of acceptance of the items delivered and installed or work completed.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder complying with all established requirements of this document.
Each bidder must provide their current specialty Alabama license, be engaged full-time in the lawn services supply business, have been established for a minimum of five years, and demonstrate adequate equipment, finances, and personnel. Three references for services rendered to public/commercial clients are required.
For every valid complaint of unsatisfactory work, a credit in the amount of **** per day until the issue is resolved for each complaint will be deducted from the contractor's payment.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the purchasing office.
Bidders will not be required to furnish samples at the time of bid opening, unless specifically called for. The board reserves the right to request samples after bid opening.
Any protest to the board's consideration of any bid must be submitted in writing and received by the purchasing director no later than five (5) calendar days after awarding date of the bid.
Bidders may be disqualified for failure to use bid forms, lack of signature, failure to properly complete the bid form, default on previous contracts, evidence of collusion, or unauthorized alteration of the bid form.
