Bids must be received no later than 11:00 a. m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Prior to payment, the items furnished and/or work performed will be inspected by the purchasing agent or his designee to determine their conformity to specification. No payment will be made for items or work not meeting specification.
Bids received will be evaluated by Albany County and will be based, as a minimum, upon the following criteria: a lowest total bid cost and projected timetable for completion of services and/or delivery of goods described herein b completeness of the bid and c bidders demonstrated capabilities and professional qualifications.
All bidders shall submit the vendor responsibility questionnaire attachment c as part of the bid. In addition, Albany County may make such investigations it deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work.
If, prior to awarding of the contract or within three days after opening, whichever period is shorter, any bidder files a duly signed written notice with the county and promptly thereafter demonstrates to the reasonable satisfaction of the county that there was a material and substantial mistake in the preparation of its bid, that bidder may withdraw its bid and the bid security will be returned.
The county reserves the right to reject any bid if the information submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the county that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein.
