This is a combined draft synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services for the drydock repair of the USCGC Polar Star over five ordering periods (****). The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). Proposals must be submitted via email. The period of performance for the ship repair work in the various ordering periods is March 31 - September 30th. Costs of attendance are solely born by the attendees. The government reserves the right to perform preaward surveys for the purpose of further confirming the capabilities of the offerors. The offerors must be determined responsible in accordance with the standards of federal acquisition regulation far subpart 9. 1 to be eligible for award. The government reserves the right to obtain past performance information from any source available. The government will evaluate pricing provided for drydocking the vessel in each of the 5 ordering periods. The government is not obligated to order the estimated amounts specified in the schedules.
