The project involves conducting plant surveys for Regional Forester Sensitive Species (RFSS) plants, noxious weeds, and watchlist species in various habitats across the Chippewa National Forest. Contractors must furnish all equipment, labor, materials (except government-furnished property), transportation, supervision, and incidentals. Detailed survey procedures, including the use of GPS, digital cameras, flagging, and specific forms, are outlined. A pre-work conference is required. The contractor must report weekly to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with completed forms and data. Government spot checks of documentation and field verification points will occur. Payment may be delayed for 30 calendar days for final inspection and review. Additional payments may be made for new, unknown RFSS locations within contracted stands or adjacent stands. Data collected and reports prepared are the property of the Forest Service and publication is prohibited without prior consent.
