Horry County Police Department is seeking proposals for portable digital radiography systems for law enforcement, EOD, and security applications. The selected vendor will provide two complete systems, software, and accessories compatible with existing county equipment (x-ray sources and tablets). Systems must be ruggedized and portable. Key requirements include wired/wireless operation, specific wireless range, software capabilities (image enhancement, dual energy, HDR), detector panel specifications (weatherproof, drop rating, load capacity, dimensions, weight, imaging depth), and compatibility with specific x-ray sources and mesh radio platforms. A minimum two-year warranty and two years of software upgrades are required. Vendor qualifications include experience in law enforcement/military/EOD applications and proven equipment reliability. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical compliance, operational capability, durability, vendor experience, past performance, cost, and warranty. The county reserves the right to reject any or all submissions. Award will be made to the most advantageous proposal.
The proposal should include an estimated delivery timeline and specify the shipping method.
Vendors invoice to County will be on a basis of net 30 days after receipt by County of the invoice.
A minimum two-year limited warranty is required, with one year for internal batteries. Minimum two years of software upgrades are also included.
Proposals will be evaluated based on technical compliance (40%), operational capability (20%), durability (15%), vendor experience/past performance (15%), cost (10%), and warranty (10%).
Vendors must have experience supplying radiography systems for law enforcement, military, or EOD applications, proven equipment reliability, and the ability to provide ongoing support and service.
