The Tennessee Department of Education is seeking to contract with up to forty-four individual contractors to support the development and facilitation of instructional resources for revised social studies academic standards. Up to twenty-four facilitators will support professional learning convenings, and up to twenty content developers will create standards-aligned content. Applicants can apply for one or both roles. The application deadline is April 7, 2026. Selected contractors will be compensated based on a defined payment structure, with maximum liabilities of $22,000 for facilitators and $10,000 for developers. The contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the state of Tennessee from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, and causes of action which may arise as a result of acts, omissions, or negligence on the part of the contractor.
