Fashion Institute of Technology Alumni Residence Hall Rooms, Corridors Painting Floors 2, 3, 16, 17 Painting of interior surfaces in residence hall rooms, corridors on floors 2, 3, 16, and 17. Includes cleaning and preparation of all surfaces to receive paint, priming, and painting to match specifications. Contractor is responsible for painting entire floors, including hallways, doors, walls, and ceilings. All existing HVAC diffusers and grilles to be cleaned. All existing fan coil units to be painted. Coordination with FIT is required to turn fan coils off. Grilles of FCUs to be spray painted. Contractor is responsible for moving all furniture to the center of the room and protecting it prior to the start of work. Built- in counters, flooring, light fixtures, etc. , to be protected throughout the project. Contractor will be responsible for repositioning generally all furniture once the project is completed. No furniture is to be stacked or stored anywhere except inside the room. Contractor to patch repair any
