This is a source sought notice for the annual calibration of two torque meter strain gage kits. The contractor shall provide background checks on personnel in accordance with the PWS and as determined by the government. Personnel will not be allowed entry to the depot that have previous felonies, open active warrants, and must be a U. S. citizen. The contractor shall provide one annual calibration with traceable data for each of the two kits at separate intervals. The kit contains a strain-gaged shaft kit and strain indicator. The shaft and indicator are factory calibrated together on an Ormond torque calibrator and a calibration data report is supplied as part of the shaft kit. The contractor shall develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with this PWS. The government will evaluate the contractor's performance under this contract in accordance with the quality assurance surveillance plan. The contractor shall provide services based on a 40-hour work week, except on US holidays or when the government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar government-directed facility closings. Travel is not required for this requirement and shall not be paid out.
The bid notice states within 5 days after completion of calibration for delivery of calibration certificates.
The bid notice states assigned contractor personnel will consist of field service representatives with proper skill sets and in adequate numbers to provide technical assistance to ccad personnel with the overall goal of maximizing the full operational capabilitycapacity of the system. The government does not provide training to contractors. Contractors must ensure that any personnel performing under a contract are fully trained, licensed, certified and qualified for the position in which they will be serving.
