Test samples are due 150 days after the date of order. Additional production lots are due 60 days after the previous production lot submittal. Delivery of the sample lot is 30 days after approval. Proposals are due no later than July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a. m. PT. The contract term is expected to begin on the date of final signature and end five years after transit has accepted delivery and approval of both trailers.

Contractor will only be compensated for performance delivered and accepted by Transit. No payments in advance or in anticipation of goods or services to be provided under any resulting contract will be made.

The award will be made to the responsive responsible proposer whose proposal meets RFP requirements and is determined the most advantageous to transit, based on a combination of noncost proposal, cost proposal, and potentially interviews.

Proposers must be qualified vendors interested in providing hydrogen tube trailers. Transit reserves the right to make reasonable inquiry and requests for additional information to determine the overall responsibility and qualifications of any proposer.

An optional virtual pre-proposal meeting will be held on July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. PT via Microsoft Teams.
