The contractor shall not pay any state or local sales or use taxes on materials and equipment which are affixed and made part of the immovable property of the project. The technology affidavit is required. All prices must be held firm throughout the entirety of the contract. Bidders may request an escalation provision. Delivery is FOB Jefferson Parish. Bidders must acknowledge all addenda on the bid form. All bids should be returned with the bid number and bid opening date indicated on the outside of the envelope.

The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) is seeking proposals for rail car tracking devices, installation, and data services for approximately 1,700 DOD-owned rail cars in the contiguous US.
