Delineators Government Bids & RFPs

The product purchased as a result of an award of this bid solicitation shall be delivered to the specified county site on or within fortyfive 45 calendar days of the countys issuance of a purchase order.

Invoices shall be predicated upon quantities ordered, delivered and accepted.

The bidder shall submit manufacturers standard warranty information with its bid. Warranty coverage must be acceptable to Steuben County. The county reserves the right to negotiate an acceptable warranty with any and all bidders after the bid opening but prior to award, without modification of bid prices.

For the purposes of this bid and subsequent awards, it is intended that awards be made to the lowest in toto price bid per unit on a line item basis. Awards shall only be made to bids submitted by qualified, responsive, and responsible bidders who sufficiently meet the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein. However, Steuben County reserves the right to determine awards/awardees in accordance with the best interest of Steuben County.

The county shall be free to make any inquiry(ies) it deems necessary to ascertain the qualifications of the bidder and/or the accuracy of statements made by the bidder as to its qualifications.

The awardee's failure to perform in compliance with the bid award shall result in a withholding of payment until such time as the awardee fulfills its responsibilities. Compliance shall be determined by and to the satisfaction of Steuben County. Such action would not necessarily preclude further initiatives on the part of Steuben County to protect and preserve its interests.

Failure to detail all deviations from specifications will comprise sufficient grounds for rejection of the entire bid. Bids submitted without complying with the Iranian energy sector divestment certification requirements may not be considered for award.

The bid notice states that payment discount offers and terms of delivery are to be provided by the vendor. The price quoted shall be F. O. B. delivered to the place designated on the purchase order, and no other terms will be acceptable.

The bid notice requires that the contractor shall demonstrate experience performing roadway asphalt construction including traffic calming installations or similar roadway improvements.

The bid notice mentions that any person or entity deemed to have made a false statement shall be declared to have acted in default of its contract and shall be subject to the remedies for default contained in its contract.
