The Buckley Space Force Base is requesting quotes for the replacement and installation of shade structure fabrics and cables for three existing frame structures (pre-toddler, toddler, and preschool). The contractor will be responsible for the removal and off-base disposal of the existing fabric cabling, and installation of the new fabric, complete with hardware. The contractor must validate site conditions and any deviations from the specifications must be documented in writing and submitted to the contracting officer. All work must be performed in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, standards, and regulations. All contractor personnel must undergo a thorough security background check. A rental agreement or vehicle registration and insurance must be provided for each employee operating a vehicle on Cannon Air Force Base. The contractor must conform to safety requirements contained in the contract and take proper precautions to prevent damage to government property. Any damage must be reported promptly to the contracting officer. The new shade cover must be 60 x 40, either a superspan hip shade or uv stabilized woven high density polyethylene, uv resistant, with a wind rating of 77 mph or better, and desert sand color.

The US Coast Guard intends to award a sole-source contract to Pipe Dreams Marine, LLC for the replacement of the awning on the USCGC Robert Ward. The awning is a specific OEM component. The period of performance is 90 calendar days from the date of award. The primary place of performance is onboard the cutter while moored at the Coast Guard base in San Pedro, CA. Contractor personnel must comply with all government regulations and security procedures. A post-award conference is required within 7 business days of the award date. A draft project plan must be submitted at the conference, and a final plan within 15 business days. A business continuity plan (BCP) is required 90 business days after the award date. Any responsible source may submit a capability statement in writing by Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. The statement will be considered only to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
