Fulton County is seeking bids for vehicle paint and body repair services for cars and light trucks for the Department of Real Estate and Asset Management. The contract will be for 12 months, not to exceed $100,**** include dent repair, painting, and mechanical/electrical repairs. Vendors must be located within Fulton County and have a complete body shop. Bids are due July 21, 2026. Questions are due July 14, 2026. Award will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Vendors must comply with Georgia's Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act by using the E-Verify program.
The due date for responses is Tuesday, July 21, 2026, by 2:00 p. m. The county reserves the right to cancel the solicitation and reject any or all quotes.
The county payment terms are net 30 days unless a cash discount is allowed for payment within not less than twenty (20) days. Payments will be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT).
All parts, materials, and labor must be guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a minimum of ninety (90) days. The vendor must state the warranty period in the comments section.
Awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder per line item. Criteria may include ability to perform, conformance to specifications, quality of performance, financial ability, item pricing, and vendor references.
Vendors must be qualified bidders capable of performing paint and body repairs for cars and light trucks. They must have a complete body shop meeting minimum requirements and be located within Fulton County geographical limits.
If the vendor fails to make prompt delivery or if any item furnished fails to conform to specifications, the county may purchase in the open market and deduct the difference from monies due the vendor. The county may terminate the contract for breach.
Samples of items when required, must be furnished free of expense to the county and upon request, be returned to the vendor at the vendor's expense. Samples of selected items may be retained for comparison purposes.
Protests must be submitted in writing to the purchasing agent. Protests arising from factual or legal bases known prior to bid submission must be submitted within three business days. Protests arising from bases known after submission must be submitted within ten business days after the protestor knew or should have known, but no more than ten business days after award.
Violation of the instruction not to contact county officers, elected officials, or employees prior to award will result in the bid being found nonresponsive. Submission of more than one bid as the primary bidder may be grounds for disqualification.
