The City of Artesia, NM is seeking bids for Oncall Information Technology Services. Services include end-user support, network and server administration, cybersecurity, cloud and email services, fiber repair and upgrades, and maintenance of the city's phone systems. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope by May 28th, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Several appendices are required, including a bid cover page, cost response form, campaign contribution disclosure form, and proof of insurance. A resident veterans preference certificate is optional. Written questions are due by May 12th, 2026, and responses will be distributed by May 14th, 2026. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Sealed bids must be received by the City of Artesia no later than 10:00 a. m. on May 28th, 2026.
All successful bidders for items/services bid shall be subject to the terms of net thirty (30) days after receipt of the firm's proper and acceptable invoices by the City.
The contractor agrees that the tangible personal property or services furnished under this agreement shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the contractor gives to any customer for such tangible personal property or services and that the rights and remedies provided herein shall extend to the city and are in addition to and do not limit any rights afforded to the city by any other clause of this agreement or order. The contractor agrees not to disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.
The items or services may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting or exceeding the minimum required specifications for those items, and this bid may be multi-awarded and multi-termed, contingent upon the city's needs.
Bidders must have a minimum of three (3) years providing IT support services to municipalities or comparable organizations, possess qualified personnel with relevant certifications, and have the ability to provide both remote and onsite support during business hours, with afterhours emergency response as needed.
The procurement code, NMSA **** **** through ****, imposes civil and criminal penalties for violation of the statute. In addition, the New Mexico criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal acts, including bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks.
The bid does not require sample submission.
Potential bidders may submit written questions to the Chief Procurement Officer about this intent or the clarity of this ITB until Tuesday, May 12th, 2026.
