The base contract period for annual fire door inspections is from 08/13/2026 to 08/12/2027. Annual inspections must be conducted prior to 09/04/2026. The final consolidated reports are due by 09/11/2026.

The contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered under this contract are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.

Contractors must have experience in fire and smoke rated door and wall inspections, hospital etiquette, and exposure procedures. They must hold state and federal certificates to work in asbestos-containing areas, possess asbestos certification of no less than 16 hours and a valid fit test certification, and be certified in NFPA 80 and NFPA 105 smoke fire doors. Knowledge of NFPA 72, 99, 101 hospital door requirements and the Joint Commission **** is also required.

If it is determined that the Government improperly terminated this contract for default, such termination shall be deemed a termination for convenience.
