The Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for the demolition of Hangar Building 199 and its ancillary facilities at the Savannah Combat Readiness Training Center. The period of performance is 6 months (180 calendar days). The contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and
quality control, except for items specified as government-furnished. Key requirements include adherence to all installation policies and procedures, including security, fire, traffic, and safety regulations. The contractor must develop and maintain a
quality control plan (QCP) and comply with the government's
quality assurance surveillance plan (QASP). Specific requirements include demolition of the entire aboveground structure, utilities, and the exterior fire suppression system. The contractor must also prepare a demolition and salvage plan, abate lead-based paint and asbestos, and implement dust control measures. The contractor must submit various reports and plans, including a demolition and salvage plan, monthly status reports, and a hazardous material abatement plan. The government will provide no property, material, equipment, or services. The contractor is responsible for all demolition environmental fees, manifestation, and filing. The contractor must install a temporary fence around the worksite. The contractor must comply with deliverables schedule (see TE 2). No vertical elements of the old facility are to remain above ground.
