Request for Proposal (RFP) for HVAC maintenance services at nineteen DCCD tribal-operated child care centers in the Shiprock region of the Navajo Nation. A written preventative maintenance plan is required, including bimonthly visits, inspections, and checklists for hot and cold seasons. Emergency services must be responded to within 24 hours. All damaged and replaced materials must be disposed of at an approved EPA landfill off the Navajo reservation. Smoking is not permitted on the child care sites. Non-DCCD employees must sign in at the front entrance and have an escort inside the buildings at all times. The vendor is liable for all damage to DCCD property. The vendor must adhere to all applicable federal, state, Navajo Nation, and local regulations, statutes, and laws. Proposals must include licenses, certifications, awards, and degrees. The vendor must sign a Navajo Nation debarment and suspension waiver form. Four copies of the proposal are required, including a separate sealed envelope for the cost proposal. The Navajo Nation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposals received. The contents of the proposal of the successful bidder will become contractual obligations if acquisition action ensues. The Navajo Nation reserves the right to incorporate standard contract provisions into any contract negotiations. 100% of the total cost of this RFP will be financed with ACF HHS DCCD grant funds.
