The contract duration is forty-five (45) calendar days after delivery of the vessel to the contractor's yard.

A pre-award survey may be requested prior to award in accordance with FAR **** to verify that the contractor is able to comply with the required performance schedule and has the necessary equipment and facilities.

In the case of failure on the part of the contractor to complete the work within the time frame in the contract or any extensions thereof, the contractor shall pay the government as liquidated damages, the sum of $4,**** for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.

Failure to provide all required items as part of the bid submittal, including drydock/travel lift certification, welder certification, project schedule, contractor safety plan, and past performance, will be considered an incomplete submittal and the bid will not be considered.
