Providence Public School District is seeking proposals for Social Emotional Support Services for nonpublic schools for the **** school year. Services include academic, personal-social emotional, and career development support. Proposals are due August 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Questions are due by August 13, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest cost, technically acceptable proposal. Vendor must have experience in education and counseling, working with diverse populations and psycho-social-emotional needs.
Delivery dates must be shown in the bid. If no delivery dates are specified, it will be assumed that an immediate delivery from stock will be made. The period of performance will be one year with two potential one-year options for renewal.
As Providence Public Schools is exempt from the payment of federal excise taxes and Rhode Island sales tax, prices quoted are not to include these taxes. The contractor shall not be paid in advance.
The award will be made to the lowest cost, technically acceptable proposals. Proposals scoring below 75 points will be deemed technically unacceptable.
Vendors must have the ability to screen, evaluate, counsel, remediate and support students aged five to fourteen in academic, career, social, and personal domains. Dual background in education and counseling, at least 3 years of experience in an educational setting, and experience working in-person within private schools are preferred.
Failure to deliver within the time quoted or failure to meet specifications may result in default in accordance with the general specifications.
Bid proposals that are not present in the Providence Public Schools Purchasing Department at the time of opening for whatever cause will be deemed to be late and will not be considered. Postmarks shall not be considered proof of timely submission.
