This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Arctic Mobility Sustainment System (AMSS) 5-man team and 10-man squad arctic shelter. Shelters must be quickly assembled/disassembled (ideally in 5 minutes or less) by soldiers wearing arctic clothing, have a stove stack, low profile, and blackout capability. Signature management (visual concealment, ideally NIR, SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR mitigation) is desired. Shelters must be fully operational at -40°F (ideally -65°F), Berry Amendment and Buy American Act compliant, capable of 72-hour continuous operation, with a 5-year useful life and 10-year storage life. The 5-man team shelter system weight should not exceed 140 lbs, and the 10-man squad shelter system weight should not exceed 120 lbs. Respondents must address solutions for both team sizes. Responses should be in PDF or DOCX format, not exceeding 10 pages, and include product name, manufacturer, technical point of contact, email, and a photograph. A white paper should detail the product's technical description, specifications, TRL, supply chain risks, utilization history, test results (if any), required tools, transportation requirements, manpower/time for erection/striking, consumables, estimated unit cost, and manufacturing capability.
