The contractor employee must be responsible for knowing and complying with all installation safety prevention regulations. Such regulations include, but are not limited to, general safety, fire prevention, and waste disposal. NIST is a restricted campus. An identification badge is required for access for entry into buildings and is shown to the armed security police when entering the campus. Contractor employees must comply with NIST identification and access requirements.

Preproposal site visit highly recommended.

The proposals are due by 2:00 pm, on thursday, february 19, 2026.

The city will make payment to the vendor within 30 days of receipt of a correct, approved and complete invoice.

The contractor shall warrant the workmanship and materials used for a minimum period of one 1 year from the completion date.

The following criteria will be considered: project approach 30 points, expertise references 40 points, costs 30 points.

The vendor must provide all design, labor, supervision, implements, tools, machinery, safety equipment, 811 prevention, required testing, traffic control, materials, and proper licensing to perform oncall hardscape installation and repair services.
