The period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2030, with a base year and four option years. The quote submission deadline is Friday, May 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST.

The person must have experience operating a variety of gasoline or diesel-powered tractors, trucks, and trailers. They will be required to obtain USFWS defensive driving and other required services certifications. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required before acceptance for this contract. Basic knowledge and skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, auto mechanics, and groundskeeping systems are also necessary. A copy of the completed background investigation must be provided. The person must be able to frequently lift and carry parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance. The ability to work in all types of weather is required, as is willingness to respond to emergencies. The company/contractor needs to be in the vicinity of the refuge.
