Outdoor Drainage Government Bids & RFPs

Proposals are due by Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, by 1pm EST. Late bids will not be accepted.

Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a correct invoice. Prompt payment discounts may be offered.

The award will be based on evaluation factors including experience and qualifications (35 points), project understanding (25 points), proposed approach (20 points), and cost (20 points). Lowest cost does not determine the award.

Contractors must be licensed to perform work in the state of Michigan and demonstrate successful completion of similar trail construction projects within the last 5 years.

A pre-proposal site visit is mandatory for those interested in submitting a proposal, unless previous work has been performed. It is scheduled for Monday, August 10th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am EST.

The question deadline is Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, by 1pm EST.

Submitting additional terms, conditions, or agreements with the bid document may be grounds for deeming a bid nonresponsive and may result in rejection. Submitting false information to qualify for discounts may result in being barred from bidding for at least three years.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, provided its bid is reasonable and in the interest of the authority. The authority reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who has been convicted of unlawful, corrupt, or collusive practices involving a public contract, or who has violated antitrust, bid-rigging, or collusive practice statutes. the owner reserves the right to disqualify any contractor and refuse to accept the bid of any bidder which has been convicted, or entered a plea of guilty or nolo contendere in any federal or state court to any charge involving any unlawful, corrupt or collusive practice involving a public contract either federal, state, or local or which has been determined in any judicial proceeding to have violated any antitrust, bidrigging or collusive practice statute in connection with any public contract, or against whom such formal criminal prosecution or other judicial proceeding has been initiated.
