This is an invitation to bid for millwork materials, doors, door hardware, and windows for the Baxter Family Housing Phase II project. Bids must be submitted by April 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Vendors are required to furnish all materials as described in the CIHA-provided materials list and in accordance with applicable codes and standards. All materials must meet specified performance requirements and be suitable for residential construction. Pricing should be based on the quantities provided in the materials list. The vendor shall deliver materials to the designated laydown area, offload them, and place them in a protected manner. Standard product documentation, including data sheets, certifications, and warranties, must be provided. Payment terms are net thirty (30) days after materials are delivered and accepted. Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, and responsible bidder. Bidders must submit a completed bid form, lobbying certificate and disclosure packet, form of noncollusive affidavit, current Alaska business license, and a completed IRS Form W9. No bids may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the bid due date. Insurance and indemnity requirements are detailed in the solicitation documents.

The bid notice states that payment shall be made in accordance with the applicable purchase order and requirements. Terms shall be net thirty (30) days, subject to any discounts for prompt payment.
The vendor shall provide standard product documentation, including data sheets, certifications, warranties, and any submittals required by the contract documents.
Award of a total lumpsum purchase order for the specified materials shall be made in accordance with CIHA's procurement policy to the lowest priced, responsive, and responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the requirements of this ITB.
Bids must be submitted by responsible and responsive vendors. Bids submitted without one or more requirements listed in the bidders checklist are subject to rejection.
The bid notice mentions that any person who fails to file the required certification shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each such failure.
