Sealed proposals for the lead service line replacement project will be accepted in the office of purchasing/finance until Wednesday, June 4, 2025, 10:00 AM. Site visits may be scheduled by contacting Alan Austin, Director of Water Supply, during the week of May 19, 2025. Questions must be submitted to purchasing/finance by Friday, May 23, 2025, 4:30 PM. An addendum, if necessary, will be posted no later than Friday, May 30, 2025, 10:00 AM. Bid evaluation will be based on Rhode Island General Laws ****, competitive sealed bidding, and the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. Bidders must demonstrate experience, submit a list of references and completed projects, meet insurance requirements, and submit a qualification statement. A certificate of insurance showing $1,000,000 general liability, $1,000,000 auto liability, workers compensation (with waiver of subrogation), and professional liability is required. A performance bond and labor and material payment bond are required. The bid must be submitted on the prescribed form, with all blank spaces filled in ink or typewritten. The town is exempt from Rhode Island sales tax and federal excise taxes. Delivery shall be F. O. B. North Kingstown, RI. The contract period is detailed in the standard form of agreement. The US Army Corps of Engineers proposes maintenance dredging of the Long Island Intracoastal Waterway. The work involves removing approximately 30,000 cubic yards of sand and placing it along the shoreline. The contractor must commence work within 5 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed and maintain a production rate of at least 2,000 cubic yards per calendar day. Liquidated damages of $2,**** per calendar day of delay will be assessed. The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work is anticipated to take place between October 2025 and January 2026, with the award expected at the end of August 2025.

The tender describes the maintenance dredging of segments of the Elizabeth River, part of the Norfolk Harbor federal navigation project. The contractor will be responsible for dredging to specific depths, transporting dredged material to a designated area, and ensuring effluent water meets state water quality requirements. The estimated volume of dredged material is 96,200 cubic yards.

This solicitation is for three (3) 600-gallon B&P Littleford model 18 PUMM vertical mixer assemblies for the Mcalester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP). The delivery date is April 30, 2026. The government will install and start-up the unit after delivery. Contractors must be registered in SAM and have current data in FAPIIS. Quotes must include a quote for each CLIN and the total dollar amount for all CLINs, company name, cage code, DUNS number, point of contact (name/title/phone number/mailing & email address), and technical documentation. The government intends to award a contract without discussions, but reserves the right to conduct discussions if necessary. Award will be made only to B&P Littleford, LLC. The solicitation incorporates numerous FAR and DFARS clauses by reference. MCAAP site-specific information includes environmental management system (EMS) requirements, prohibited items, security requirements (badging and vehicles), receiving office requirements, packing list requirements, and certificate of conformance/certificate of analysis requirements.
