The Town of Abington requires completion of the work no later than December 30, 2030.

The bid notice states that payments will be made in accordance with Article 4, Progress Payments, which details periodic payments and final payment procedures, including interest on late payments.

Questions regarding the interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing to the Town Manager no later than five business days prior to the bid opening.

The estimated cost for the work is $377,****.

The bid is due by Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM CST. The anticipated term of the contract is May 25, 2026, until May 24, 2028.

Payment for the specified items shall be net thirty (30) days after acceptance. Proposers should note any discounts for payment before thirty (30) days.

The contract will be awarded to the responsible proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to MATA, considering all RFP requirements, based on evaluation factors including technical approach, experience, management, equipment, and price.

Proposers must provide personal qualifications and related experience, firm qualifications and experience including at least three comparable projects, and a detailed description of equipment and supplies. Resumes for personnel are required.

If corrective actions are not completed as outlined, three times or more in one month, MATA will issue a written notice of warning. For any offense after the written notice of warning is issued, five percent of the monthly cost of the contract will be deducted from the contractor's monthly invoice. If any offenses occur in any three months during the contract period, MATA may terminate the contract for cause.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at **** Levee Road, Memphis, TN **** is highly recommended.

Protests must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer within seven (7) days of the award by the MATA board.

The bid notice states that sealed proposals will be received electronically until 10:00 a. m. on Friday, May 8, 2026. Paper submittals must be received prior to the opening date and time in order to be considered.
