Genesee County is soliciting proposals for physician services for the Juvenile Justice Center. Proposals are due August 27, 2026, by 12:00 PM EST. Questions are due August 12, 2026, by 3:00 PM EST. Vendors must have a minimum of five years of experience in correctional or related institutional healthcare. Services include medical examinations, routine and emergency treatment, on-call coverage, and onsite visits. The contract will be for an initial two-year term with options for three additional one-year extensions. Insurance requirements are detailed in the RFP.

If the contractor breaches the contract and the breach continues for 14 days after written notice, the county may terminate the contract and the contractor will be responsible for all costs incurred by the county.
