Tactile Graphics Government Bids & RFPs

This is a combined synopsis solicitation for specialized braille services, including tactile graphics, for the Library of Congress. The contractor will be responsible for transcribing documents into braille, producing ebraille . brf files, and embossing and binding documents. This contract aims to provide braille and . brf counterparts for publications available in digital print format on the NLS public website, as well as braille materials for visually impaired attendees at NLS conferences, meetings, and events. It is intended to be a single award 5-year IDIQ at or below the simplified acquisition threshold.

The contractor shall furnish to the government, when and if ordered, the supplies or services specified in the schedule up to and including the quantity designated in the schedule as the maximum. The government shall order at least the quantity of supplies or services designated in the schedule as the minimum. The Library of Congress is not an agency subject to the prompt payment act. The amount in sections c, d2i, and e of the disputes clause is $50,000 instead of $100,000. The offeror shall complete only paragraph b of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certification electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM). If the offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs c through v of this provision. The offeror must complete the following representations when the resulting contract is for supplies to be delivered or services to be performed in the United States or its outlying areas, or when the contracting officer has applied part 19 in accordance with 19. 000b1ii.
