Procurement of crushed aggregate stone for Acadia National Park. Three types of crushed stone aggregate are required: half inch minus, inch minus, and four inch minus. Delivery to specific park stockpiles in Maine. Quotations are due by July 29, 2026. Award will be made to the responsible small business quoter with the lowest price technically acceptable quote. Testing and quality control are required, with contractor submitting test results within 10 days of award. Failure to submit compliant test results within 30 days may result in termination for default. Invoicing must be submitted electronically through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
Base requirements shall be delivered within 30 days of the date of the order, after NPS approval of test results. If the option is exercised, delivery shall be within 30 days of the option exercise date, after NPS approval of test results.
Payment shall be made at the unit price per ton based on certified weight tickets. Payment requests must be submitted electronically through the U. S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
Award shall be made to the responsible small business quoter whose quotation, in conforming to this RFQ, provides the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) quote to the government.
Quotations received will be evaluated for acceptability or unacceptability, but not ranked using the noncostprice factors. The government will first evaluate the total proposed prices. Thereafter, the government will evaluate the nonprice factors of the two lowest overall priced quotes.
If the contractor fails to respond in a timely manner to any requirements of the purchase order, delay will be attributed to the contractor and the price may be subject to a downward adjustment.
Failure to submit test results meeting specifications and certificate of compliance within 30 days will result in termination for default of the contract.
