To be Bid: MPSCS Integrated Tower Site Safety Climb
MPSCS Integrated Tower Site Safety Climb Upgrade Upgrade of existing tower site safety climb systems to stainless steel, including replacement of cable, mounting brackets, and support brackets.
Bid Close Date:
Lot 1: The Michigan Public Safety Communications System ( MPSCS) has been conducting comprehensive inspections of safety climb systems across all Integrated Tower Sites to ensure ongoing compliance and personnel safety. Through extensive research and consultation with manufacturers and vendors, MPSCS has verified that galvanized steel safety climbs have an expected lifespan of approximately seven years. In contrast, stainless steel safety climb systems offer a limited lifetime warranty, provided the cable and associated components remain free of damage and wear. tTo enhance long- term reliability and reduce lifecycle risks, MPSCS is requiring all existing tower site safety climb systems to be upgraded to stainless steel. This upgrade encompasses the replacement of the cable, mounting brackets, and support brackets to ensure a fully standardized and durable solution across the entire network.
