The City of Rockville is seeking a qualified company to provide private utility locating services. Bids are due by 2:00 PM ET on June 18, 2026. The contractor guarantees that the items conform to the design and specifications and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum of one year after initial delivery.
Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder complying with all provisions of the invitation for bid, provided the price is reasonable and in the best interest of the city.
Bidders must provide written evidence of five years of prior experience with the scope of work. The city reserves the right to require additional information to determine bidder responsibility.
The city has the right to deduct billable payment for no response ticket notices monthly. Failure to comply with contract terms may result in termination for default.
A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Individuals interested in viewing the vicinity of the work are encouraged to do so independently.
Samples of items, if requested, shall be furnished without charge, upon request within ten days. Failure to provide samples may be cause to consider the bid as nonresponsive.

Failure to submit required forms, sign addenda, or communicate with unauthorized personnel may result in disqualification.
