Interested vendors must submit a capability statement detailing their experience in providing similar services, including years of experience, examples of current contracts, contact information for those contracts, verification of authorization and training related to servicing the referenced equipment, number of qualified maintenance personnel, UEI number, organization name, address, point of contact, business size, and socioeconomic status. The work involves cleaning exhaust and dryer vents in specified buildings at the VA Medical Center, including kitchen exhaust hoods, dental exhaust units, and clothes dryer vents. Annual preventative maintenance and testing of the equipment is also required, per manufacturer recommendations. Equipment must be UL-labeled and approved for hospital use, and operate at appropriate noise levels. Work scheduling must be coordinated with the contracting office at least one week prior to service.
