The contractor must have at least two years of experience with carpet cleaning and handling cleaning equipment. They must also provide IICRC carpet cleaning technician certification and demonstrate technical knowledge of cleaning methods, physical stamina, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, time management, and knowledge of safety procedures.

Noncompliance with requirements regarding alcohol, nonprescription drugs, and firearms, or misconduct with facility employees, can lead to immediate removal from the facility and barring from further work under the contract. Violating confidentiality, patient and staff privacy, safety, security, EEO, media/photo policies, or customer service standards can result in termination.
