The project involves comprehensive fueling facility improvements, including the removal of two existing 12,000-gallon USTs and installation of new aboveground and underground storage tanks, new fuel dispensers, and a new canopy. Sealed bids must be submitted by 2:00 p. m. on September 9, 2026. A bid bond of 5% of the base bid amount is required. A site visit is encouraged and can be scheduled by contacting Angie Foster at **** is due within 30 calendar days after delivery, inspection, and acceptance if no cash discount is offered. The contractor warrants the installation for one year.
Bids will be received by the city of laurinburg at the office of the budget & management services director, city hall, 303 w. church street, laurinburg, nc, until 2: 00 p. m. local time on wednesday, september 9, 2026
If no cash discount is offered, payment by the city shall be due within thirty 30 calendar days after delivery, inspection and acceptance at destination point for completion of work or work progress.
Contractor warrants that for a period of one 1 year from the date of completion of the installation, that the installation of all equipment shall be done in a workmanlike manner in accordance with standard procedures.
The undersigned bidder further states that it is a duly licensed contractor for the type of work proposed, in north carolina, and that all fees, permits, etc. , pursuant to submitting this proposal have been paid in full.

The city reserves the right to reject any and or all proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bids submitted.
